Edmonton Streetcars
Hop aboard a moving piece of Edmonton history!
The High Level Bridge Streetcar takes you on a scenic ride from Whyte Avenue, through Alberta’s only CPR tunnel, and across the iconic High Level Bridge into downtown. With vintage charm, unbeatable views, and a museum stop in Old Strathcona, this is one ride you don’t want to miss.
The Route: The High Level Bridge line runs from the Whyte Ave terminus, stopping at Old Strathcona, 107 Street, Garneau, Government Centre, and the Jasper Plaza terminus before turning back. A return ticket lets you hop off at any stop and catch a later trip back when you’re ready - perfect for planning your own downtown adventure.
Streetcars operate Thursday to Monday until September 1, then Friday to Sunday through October 13. Tickets are cash only, paid directly to the conductor - $8.00 round-trip or $5.00 on-way - first come, first serve.
Did you know? The streetcars are also available for private charters - ideal for weddings, staff parties, birthdays, or any unique celebration. You can even pair your ride with a private tour or gathering at the Strathcona Streetcar Barn and Museum.
Charters start at $400.00/hour (1-hour minimum).
